  • Prize Money: Three outstanding works selected from all submission channels will be awarded the “Tezuka Universe Prize.” A total of 1.5 million yen in prize money will be granted to the winners (1st place: 1 million yen, 2nd place: 300,000 yen, 3rd place: 200,000 yen).
  • Participation Benefits: By completing tasks such as submitting works, voting for entries, and following on X, you will receive points that can later be exchanged for $TCOM (token).

  • Awarded Works: Special prizes will be awarded to the best works selected by voting!
    In addition to the points awarded, the work will be minted as a secondary NFT and the said NFT will be presented to the winner as proof of rights!

Work Format
・Illustration (one image per submission)
・File format: JPG or PNG
・Size: No restrictions
・Number of submissions: Up to 5 works per person
・Collaborative works: Allowed (submissions must be under the representative’s name; multiple accounts submitting the same work are not allowed.)
・While using AI tools for creation is permitted, works generated solely by AI tools are prohibited in this event. Please use AI as an auxiliary tool and ensure the final work is hand-drawn.
・Creations that infringe on the rights of others are prohibited. Please be sure to create works with your own original touch.

How to Submit
Submit your work via the submission page on the special event site by providing the following:

・Title (please include the character’s name for clarity)

・Whether AI tools were used

Eligibility
Open to everyone regardless of age, nationality, or professional/amateur status
Free of charge
※ However, a transaction fee (“gas fee”) will be charged because voting for a work requires the use of designated tokens and this voting takes place on the blockchain. The Gas Fee is not collected by TCOM, but is a technical cost associated with the use of the blockchain. You understand and agree that TCOM is not responsible for any and all expenditures and financial losses incurred in the above process, including gas costs associated with voting.

Copyright & Usage Policy
・Copyright of the creative aspects of submitted works is transferred to the organizer
・The organizer may use the works for non-commercial purposes (exhibition, introduction, distribution, etc.)
・For commercial use (e.g., merchandise, publication), the necessary permissions from the copyright holders (such as Tezuka Productions) will be obtained on a case-by-case basis, and the applicant will be notified with profit sharing arranged as needed
・All works will include the credit “©︎Tezuka Productions”. This does not apply if otherwise specified by the copyright holders
・Once submitted, works cannot be withdrawn in principle (except for unavoidable circumstances)
・The organizer will review all submissions and supervise them responsibly
・While the use of AI tools is allowed, tracing or unauthorized use of others’ works is prohibited

Judging & Awards
・Submissions will be reviewed by the organizers and supervised and evaluated by the copyright holders
・Please note that even if a work passes the organizer review, it may be disapproved during the copyright holder’s evaluation.
※ Points earned through passing the organizer review will not be revoked.
・Awarded works will be determined through selection by judges
・A total of 50 works will be eligible for awards

Prizes & Benefits
1) Three outstanding works selected from all submission channels will be awarded the “Tezuka Universe Prize.”
The three winning entries will receive a total of 1.5 million yen in cash prizes.
    - 1st: 1 million yen
    - 2nd: 300,000 yen
    - 3rd: 200,000 yen
2) Participation Benefits
    By completing tasks such as voting, submitting works, and following on X (formerly Twitter), you can earn points that can be exchanged for $TCOM (token)
3) Awarded works will receive bonus points
4) Commercial development (commercialization, etc.) of award-winning works may be considered (on a case-by-case basis). If the work is commercially developed, the creator will receive 30% of the proceeds as a copyright royalty fee.
Creators have the right to receive the copyright royalties for their works, but they do not own the copyrights themselves.

Work Publication
Submitted works will be published sequentially on the event website after approval by the organizers.
Please note that for works that are not approved, individual notifications or reasons for disapproval will not be provided. We appreciate your understanding.

Prohibited Items
Submissions that include the following content are prohibited:
・Violent or graphic depictions involving blood or excessive aggression
・Content that may involve crime or scandal
・Designs or expressions involving alcohol, tobacco, gambling, pornography, or any other elements harmful to minors (R-18 content)
・Content related to political, religious, or ideological activities
・Discriminatory or defamatory language
・Unauthorized use of copyrighted works or AI-generated content
・Any expressions that go against public order and morals
・Any other content that may harm the character’s image

Q: How do I submit my entry?

A: Please access each voting channel on the event page and log in with your e-mail address or wallet on the “My Work” page in the header. After logging in, upload your work and fill in the required information, and agree to the Terms of Use to be able to submit your work.

Q: What is required to submit?

A: As a general rule, users must log in with their email address or wallet and submit their illustration work on the “My Work” page.

Q: Can I submit works generated by AI?

A: Use of AI tools is allowed, but due to copyright concerns, works generated solely by AI tools are not permitted.
Please use AI only as an auxiliary tool and ensure the final work has been manually refined.
Also, unauthorized use or tracing of others’ works or AI-generated content is prohibited. Please make sure to incorporate your own originality in your work.
For works that use AI tools, please check the AI usage option when submitting.

Q: Is there any fee to participate in the event?

A: TCOM will not charge any fees for this event. However, since voting requires the use of designated tokens and this voting is conducted on the blockchain, a gas fee (transaction fee) will be incurred in the process. This gas fee is not collected by TCOM.
In addition, when a user uploads a work, the work may need to be minted as an NFT, which will also incur a gas fee.
However, please understand in advance that these gas fees for minting and voting for NFTs are not paid to TCOM and that TCOM does not charge any fees for these processes.

Q: I'm not sure which character to draw. Where can I find the character list?

A: The character list is available here. It contains the 100 eligible characters from Tezuka Osamu’s works. Feel free to create your own secondary works based on your favorite characters or themes.

Q: How is copyright handled?

A: The copyright for the creative aspects of submitted works will be transferred to the organizer. The organizer may freely use the works for non-commercial purposes (exhibition, introduction, etc.). For commercial use (e.g., merchandise), necessary permissions will be obtained from the copyright holders and the applicant will be notified, with profit sharing arranged as needed.

Q: When and where will the judging results be announced?

A: Awarded works are scheduled to be announced on July 4, 2025 (Fri) on the event website, official social media (X, formerly Twitter), and related web media. Results will be updated in real-time, so please check the official channels.

Q: How do I receive the prize money and benefits?

A: Please follow the prescribed procedures after receiving an award. Details will be provided later.
